The XFL Battlehawks are a professional American football team that plays in the XFL. The 2020 XFL season was the first season for the Battlehawks, and they had a successful run, finishing in second place in the XFL’s Eastern Conference with a record of 3-2 before the season was abruptly ended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the league’s cancellation, the Battlehawks developed a loyal fan base in St. Louis. In 2022 the XFL returned and so did the Battlehawks. All Battlehawks home games are played in downtown St. Louis at the Dome at America’s Center.
